Look what I found in Jenny Wren the Potting Shed!
Nestled in an antique pillbox, this teeny wee concertina celebrates the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough, Beltane and her Spring abundance.
Hand painted on scrap paper using watercolour, gouache and colour pencils.
A whisper of fabric and for luck, a vintage button from a tin gifted to me from my Great-Grunny (with whom I shared the same birthday in May and as a skilled seamstress, taught me to sew)
I found this wee wren's nest in Autumn when I was tidying out the Potting Shed.
This one of a kind concertina, is like that hoosie, made with love and good intentions.
