Perseverance
This design of this vintage trinket dish is inspired by my love of local history.
In particular, Stone Circles and the fact that the N.East of Scotland boasts a higher concentration of these and other megalithic remains than almost any other region of the British Isles.
A few of these are literally on my doorstep, one such is Aikey Brae in Old Deer - it is one of the finest examples of a Recumbent Stone Circle in the UK. It was fascinating to discover that the circle connects with tales of Norse Gods, Druids, Picts and King of Scotland - Robert the Bruce.
This one-of-a-kind trinket dish is perfect for keeping your small bits n bobs safe.
The hand lettering and wee painted spider make it a unique addition to any bedside cabinet, dressing table or shelf.
Designed to remind us of two things; that everything is connected and no matter how tough, to never give up.
