Wild Camping
Mawkin is Scot's for Hare, and this illustration is inspired by childhood memories and in particular, of wild camping when I was a bairn.
Of the many things I learned from wild camping is that there is nothing to fear in the forest at night. Rather more alive in the dark than during the day, a place full of creatures curious to know what you're doing. They listen too, if you know how to tell them.
The illustration is professionally printed on 250gsm artist-quality archival paper.
The paper compliments the original texture of the painting without sparing colour rendition.
Printed edge to edge, with no border and ready to frame.
Colours may vary slightly from your computer screen.
As with all art, it is best to keep out of direct sunlight to reduce the risk of fading.
